This yummy ramen place was recommended by my Japanese hairdresser. He said this is his favourite ramen restaurant in NYC. Noodles are firm and chewy which I love! Eggs ????are cooked perfectly. Soup is heavy but it’s perfect for the cold weather! ???????? The ramen here does taste like a traditional one ???? , the soup is thinker compare to the many places, perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea, however ramen has so many types, it depends on which region, the tastes would be different.

Best ramen we ever had anywhere! The staff were very friendly too! The ramen were hot and spicy and delicious!

Absolutely best Ramen in NYC from a vegetarian perspective. Love that we have almost as many options to choose from as meat based. Brilliant flavors and a very good variety. Specially if you love spice! Highly recommend the spicy Miso and the curry ramen! Very fast service as well! Great setup, perfect for a ramen shop! Overall a very good experience!

I found my new favorite NYC ramen place. Chewy and textured noodles, hearty rich broth, delicate flavors, and authentic atmosphere. We had three different bowls and all were delicious but the curry ramen was out of this world.

My husbands cousin wanted to try ramen for the first time so we chose this place after reading the wonderful reviews. Let me tell you, it was amazing! We brought our baby with us and the staff was so accommodating to the baby seat. There was a short line (probably because it was a chillier night), otherwise I know this place gets crowded. 10/10 recommend. I am going back next week!

So nice to be able to walk into Japan after enjoying a foreign film at the IFC Center next door! Just coming back from Tokyo, I really enjoyed the authentic atmosphere and greetings in Japanese!

The devil is in the details. This place uses unique ingredients that you can’t find anywhere else, while still well preserves the authentic Japanese flavor. I’d like to shout out particularly for the menma - the chef picks the very top tip of a bamboo shoot, which is my favorite part because its fibers are not as chewy as the regular ones. They also uses raw nori instead of the baked one, again, full of personality and I really like it. The broth is Hokkaido style, rich and flavorful. I can imagine how hearty it will be when the weather gets colder. Will come back

The best ramen in the city. My boyfriend and I have been there in December. It was cold outside and we wanted something to warm up. The restaurant looks like a garage, but the atmosphere was very cozy and the owner was very kind. The ramen was delicious, the best I've ever tried (in NY and outside NY - not in Japan, of course). It wasn't so expensive for NY. I'm recommending it to everyone who's going to NY.

We went in on a Saturday night and was lucky and immediately got seated. Their spicy miso vegetarian ramen was one of the top veggie ramens I've tried! The BEST part was that it was served piping hot - unlike most other ramen places in the states. Highly recommend!!
